How do I convert PNG to JPG or WebP?

Why does a transparent background become white in JPG?
JPG does not support transparency. ToolMint fills transparent areas with your selected background colour; the default is white. Choose PNG or supported WebP to retain transparency. Converting an opaque JPG cannot restore transparency.
What inputs, outputs and limits apply?
Input: One JPG, JPEG, PNG or WebP. Output: JPG, PNG or WebP with unchanged pixel dimensions. Limits: 50 MB; 40 megapixels; 12,000 pixels per edge. No animation or metadata preservation. WebP output requires browser support.
