How does this tool work: Add watermark to PDF?
Free, no sign-up, right in your browser. Open a PDF – the watermark window appears. Choose text, size, color, opacity and orientation, add and save. Each watermark can then be moved or deleted individually.
Can the watermark be removed again?
In ToolMint at any time before saving. In the saved PDF it is ordinary text on the page that editing programs can remove, so a watermark is not tamper-proof protection.
What inputs, outputs and limits apply?
Input: One PDF and watermark text. Output: PDF with the watermark as real text. Limits: Up to 100 MB per PDF and 500 pages in total. Password-protected PDFs are rejected; permission-protected PDFs are kept as images. Text editing works on real text layers, not on scans (no OCR). Changes invalidate digital signatures of the original file.

Good to know
These tools do not send your inputs to a server. Your web host processes technical connection data when you visit the site.
Password-protected or damaged PDFs are rejected. Editing invalidates PDF signatures.
